Diabetes Professionals

Working towards a Maine where everyone understands their risk and how to prevent or manage diabetes.

Rethink Diabetes Maine is a campaign created by the Maine Center for Disease Control (Maine CDC) Diabetes Prevention and Control Program (DPCP) designed to connect Mainers to tools, programs, and resources to help prevent or manage diabetes.

By becoming a member of the Rethink Diabetes Maine community, you’ll be able to connect with other diabetes professionals throughout Maine to help support each other and your clients. Follow the steps below to get started!

Step One: Become a Member

Diabetes professionals can create a member login on the website to connect, share knowledge and resources, collaborate with others, and document successes to further promote positive change in diabetes prevention and treatment as a community.

Step Two: List Your Program

As a member, you can use the “Add a Class” tab to share your DSMES or NDPP classes with Mainers; list your organization, class frequency, contact information, website, and an overview of your program.

Step Three: Connect and Share Resources!

Rethink Diabetes Maine also offers resources to help Maine professionals and program staff support their patients who are interested in preventing or managing diabetes. Once you’re a member, use the forums to connect with other diabetes professionals and the Diabetes Prevention and Control Program.
